Situated along Manhattan’s prestigious Upper East Side, this residence overlooks Central Park and the iconic skyline beyond. The design is organized around a carefully composed entry gallery, where a strong architectural axis immediately frames the park, allowing the view to become the defining element of the home.

Public spaces, including the living room, dining room, and gallery, are arranged to maximize openness and visual continuity, while three bedrooms, a library, home office, and kitchen provide quieter, more intimate spaces. The residence balances formal entertaining with everyday living through a clear spatial hierarchy and seamless circulation.

Materiality plays a central role in shaping the interior. A custom terrazzo entry floor transitions to rift-sawn white oak flooring, while sculptural stone fireplaces, richly veined marble, and dramatic onyx create moments of warmth and visual depth. Custom millwork, fluted wood paneling, integrated shelving, and concealed storage unify the residence with a refined sense of craftsmanship.

Guided by principles of proportion, alignment, and restraint, the project transforms the apartment into a timeless urban retreat where material richness, carefully framed views, and meticulous detailing create an elegant home above Central Park.
